Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate & Diploma: Candidates must possess a full-time, regular 4-year degree or a 3-year regular diploma in Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution in the relevant stream. Only candidates who passed their Graduate or Diploma in the year 2024 or later are eligible.
- ITI Trade: Candidates must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in the respective trade from an AICTE/Government-recognized institution.
Age Limit (As of 28.07.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
- Note: Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PWBD categories as per Government of India guidelines.
Essential Conditions
- Candidates must be domiciles of the North Eastern Region (Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, & Arunachal Pradesh).
- Anyone who has already completed or terminated an apprenticeship midway, or who possesses one year or more of work experience post-qualification, is not eligible.{inAds}
Mode of Selection
- Provisional Selection: Based strictly on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Interview & Verification: Shortlisted candidates will receive communication via their registered email IDs for document verification and an interview.
- Final Selection: Dependent on successfully clearing the interview, document verification, and submitting a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
