DSC East Khasi Hills Recruitment 2025: The District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong invites online applications from only the permanent residents of East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya for the post of LDA Cum Typist, Sectional Assistant, Fishery Demonstrator, Forester and Soil & Water Conservation Demonstrator Jr. I. 1. Post Name: LDA Cum Typist
- No of posts: 92 [UR:10, K/G:75, OST/SC:7]
- Salary: Pay level-5 as per the revised pay structure.
- Essential Qualification: Matriculation /SSLC passed from a recognised School/ Board with Certificate in Computer Application from a recognised computer training institute, minimum 3 months course duration, with a minimum speed of 30 w.p.m (to be ascertained in the technical speed test).
2. Post Name: Sectional Assistant
- No of posts: 30 [UR:4, K/G:26]
- Salary: Pay level-4 as per the revised pay structure.
- Essential Qualification: Minimum qualifications must be SSLC passed from a recognised School/Board.
3. Post Name: Fishery Demonstrator
- No of posts: 9 [UR:1, KJ/G:8]
- Salary: Pay level-4 as per the revised pay structure.
- Essential Qualification: Passed class XII Science with Biology as one of the subject.
4. Post Name: Forester- I
- No of posts: 20 [UR:2, KJ/G:18]
- Salary: Pay level- as per the revised pay structure.
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC Science Stream and above or equivalent examinations from a recognized School/ Board.
- Minimum Physical standard/fitness:
- Height: (i) Male - 163 cms (ii) Female - 150 cms
- Chest: (i) Male -79 cms (normal) and 05 cms on expanded (ii) Female -74 cms (normal) and 05 cms on expanded
- Minimum Height for SC/ST: (i) Male - 152 cms (ii) Female - 145 cms
- Candidates must qualified for a Physical Test consisting of a Walk of 25 Kms for Male candidates and 16 Kms for Female candidates to be completed within 4 (four) hours.
5. Post Name: Soil & Water Conservation Demonstrator Jr. I
- No of posts: 19 [UR:5, K/G:13, OST/SC:1]
- Salary: Pay level-4 as per the revised pay structure.
- Essential Qualification:
- HSLC Passed or equivalent examination in Science Stream recognised by the Government.
- Must be willing to served in any interior places in Meghalaya.
- Has to passed Physical Test.
- Medical Fitness Certificate from appropriated authority to be submitted.
- Shall have to execute the bond to undergo the 11 months Field Assistant Training Course in Soil & Water Conservation Training Institute, Byrnihat, Meghalaya.
- They will be provideda monthly stipend during the course of Training.
Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years over the upper age limit of 32 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
