The Department of Biomedical Engineering is inviting applications for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). This recruitment is part of a high-impact research project funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, focusing on "Advancing Lumbar Spine Disorder Diagnosis with Deep Learning-Based Medical Image Analysis". Eligibility Criteria and Remuneration
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of 37,000/- + HRA (as per funding agency norms). Applicants must hold an M.E./M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering (BME), IT, CSE, or ECE. Alternatively, candidates with an MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Electronics are eligible if they have cleared NET (CSIR-UGC) or GATE. Selection may also occur through national-level exams conducted by central departments like DST, DBT, ICMR, or IIT.
2. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) This position offers a fixed monthly pay of 18,000/-. Candidates must have a Graduate degree or Diploma in any stream to be eligible for this role.
Important Terms and Conditions
The engagement is entirely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration. While the project lasts for three years, staff will be engaged initially for one year, with extensions based on performance and project needs. Please note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview, and candidates must bring original certificates for verification.
