Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess recognized medical qualifications as per National Medical Commission (NMC) norms. Depending on the department and post, applicants should have qualifications such as:
- MD/MS
- DM
- M.Ch
- DNB equivalent qualification
- Registration with Central/State Medical Council
Non-medical candidates are also eligible for selected departments like Biochemistry and Microbiology as per NMC regulations.
Experience Requirement
Experience requirements vary according to the post level:
- Professor: 11 to 14 years teaching/research experience
- Associate Professor: 6 years experience
- Assistant Professor: 1 to 3 years experience depending on specialty
Age Limit
- Professor: Maximum 58 years
- Associate Professor: Maximum 50 years
- Assistant Professor: As per institute norms and advertisement guidelines
- Deputation Applicants: Maximum 56 years
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive attractive salary packages under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
- Professor: Level-14A (₹1,59,100 Entry Pay + NPA)
- Associate Professor: Level-13A1 (₹1,31,400 Entry Pay + NPA)
- Assistant Professor: Level-12 (₹1,01,500 Entry Pay + NPA)
Additional government allowances will also be admissible.
