2. Specialist - Obstetrics & Gynaecology (1 Post)
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree with a postgraduate degree or diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology—such as MD/MS (Obs & Gynae), DNB (Obs & Gynae), or DGO from a recognized university or institution.
- Mandatory Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission (NMC) is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecological care. Competency in normal/complicated deliveries, emergency obstetric care (EmONC/CEMONC), and surgeries like Caesarean sections is required, along with familiarity with JSY, JSSK, and LaQshya programs.

Selected specialists will be stationed at Baghmara Civil Hospital to deliver essential medical care services under NHM frameworks:
- Paediatrics Specialist: Responsible for comprehensive consultations for neonates and children, managing low-birth-weight newborns in the SNCU/NBSU, executing immunization schedules under the UIP, managing acute childhood illnesses, and maintaining active documentation in HMIS and RCH portals.
