Eligible candidates holding SSC/10th standard pass with 55% marks along with relevant ITI certificates or specified work experience can submit their applications online before the closing date.

Educational Qualification Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, securing a minimum of 55% marks.
  • In addition, candidates must possess an ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
  • Alternatively, candidates with SSC/10th (Science, 55% marks) plus 02 years of full-time apprentice training experience OR 03 years of relevant work experience in a Government Ministry, Department, PSU, or Autonomous Body are eligible.

Selection Process & Scheme of Examination:

  • Applications will be screened by a Screening Committee.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for a qualifying Trade Test.
  • Candidates qualifying the Trade Test will appear for a competitive written exam consisting of 150 objective-type questions over 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Paper-I (1 Hour): 50 questions on Mental Ability Test (100 Marks, No negative marking).
  • Paper-II (30 Minutes): 25 questions on General Awareness (75 Marks) and 25 questions on English Language (75 Marks) with 1 negative mark for each wrong answer.
  • Paper-III (1 Hour): 50 questions on the Concerned Subject (150 Marks) with 1 negative mark for each wrong answer.
  • Paper-II and Paper-III will only be evaluated for candidates scoring minimum threshold marks in Paper-I. Final merit lists are generated strictly based on marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.{inAds}

How to Apply Step-by-Step:

  1. Step 1: Visit the official portal at recruitment.csir.res.in or csir.res.in.
  2. Step 2: Click on "Apply Online" and register using your full name, valid email address, and mobile number to obtain your User ID and Password.
  3. Step 3: Log in and complete your Basic Profile details (Gender, Category, Date of Birth, PwBD/ESM status) and lock the profile.
  4. Step 4: Fill in personal details, educational qualifications from 10th standard onwards, and experience details under respective tabs.
  5. Step 5: Upload required documents including JPG photo (under 50 KB), JPG signature in black ink (under 50 KB), and PDF documents (under 1 MB each) for Date of Birth proof, Educational marksheets/certificates, Experience certificates, and Category/Disability certificates.
  6. Step 6: Complete the Live Photo Capture through your webcam or mobile camera via QR code scanning.
  7. Step 7: Preview all details thoroughly and click the final submission button to generate your "Application No.".
  8. Step 8: Proceed to the online payment link via SBI Collect (if non-exempt) to pay the Rs. 500 fee, download the e-Receipt using your DU Reference Number, upload the transaction receipt, and save the final application printout.
