Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits
Candidates must meet the requisite educational qualifications, professional certifications, and post-qualification experience specified for each stream as of 01.08.2026.
Scale-Wise Age Limits (As on 01.08.2026):
- Scale I (Officer): Minimum 21 years to Maximum 30 years
- Scale II (Manager): Minimum 25 years to Maximum 30/35 years (depending on post)
- Scale III (Senior Manager): Minimum 28 years to Maximum 37/40 years (depending on post)
- Scale IV (Chief Manager): Minimum 28 years to Maximum 40/42 years (depending on post)
Upper Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Persons affected by 1984 Riots: 5 years
Salary & Pay Scale Structure
Selected candidates will receive basic pay along with applicable allowances and perquisites as per Bank of India rules.

Application Fee Structure
- SC / ST / PwBD Category: Rs. 175/- (Intimation charges only, inclusive of GST)

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection will be conducted through an Online Test and/or Personal Interview. The bank reserves the right to conduct the selection process through Personal Interview alone depending on applicant volume.
Online Examination Details:
- English Language: 25 Maximum Marks (Qualifying Nature only)
- Professional Knowledge Relevant to the Post: 100 Maximum Marks
- Duration: 100 minutes (composite time)
- Penalty for Wrong Answers: 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted for every incorrect response.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories in the online exam.
- Interview Marks: 100 Marks (Qualifying marks: 50% for General/EWS, 45% for reserved categories).
- Weightage Ratio (If both exam & interview conducted): 60:40.
Tentative Exam Center for Meghalaya Candidates: Shillong.
Security Deposit Requirement
Selected candidates are required to deposit a security amount, refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service:
- Scale I (JMGS-I): Rs. 1,00,000/-
- Scale II (MMGS-II): Rs. 2,00,000/-
- Scale III & IV (MMGS-III & SMGS-IV): Rs. 3,00,000/-{inAds}
