Meghalaya MEWPCL Recruitment 2025: The Meghloom Eri Producer Company Limited (MEWPCL) invites applications from eligible citizens of Meghalaya for the following contractual positions at the MEWPCL Office, Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi District. The last date for submission of the application is 9th July 2025.
1. Post Name: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 40,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Sericulture, Design, Management, Agri-Business, Rural Development or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of leadership or managerial experience in Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), producer collectives, or rural enterprise development. Proven ability to build networks and manage multi- stakeholder programs.
- Skills preference:
- Leadership and team-building capabilities
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Experience in Business Operations, Market Linkages and Stakeholder- engagement
- Familiarity with Government schemes, NABARD/FPO policies
2. Post Name: Designer
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 35,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Fashion or Textile Design (preferably from NIFT or equivalent)
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in textile or fashion design, preferably in natural fibres or handloom-based products. Experience working with Rural Artisans is an advantage.
- Skills preference:
- Creativity, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or other textile design software
- Knowledge of indigenous weaving techniques and tribal aesthetics
- Portfolio of previous textile design work (especially in handloom)
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
3. Post Name: Accountant
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate or equivalent diploma in Commerce, Accounts, or Finance
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in handling organizational accounts, preparing audit reports, and financial documentation. Prior experience in a company or development project setup is desirable.
- Skills preference:
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel; knowledge of financial compliance; CA Foundation/Inter mediate preferred
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Ability to prepare and analyze budgets
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software beyond Tally
- Report writing and presentation of financial data
4. Post Name: Production Manager
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (preference for production/ operations background)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in managing production units or artisan-based production systems. Experience in inventory and supply chain management in a craft-based or textile sector is preferred
- Skills preference:
- Production planning, inventory control, team management
- Experience in artisan cluster management
- Proficiency in using digital tools for inventory or workflow management
5. Post Name: Technical Supervisor
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 23,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’ s degree in Textiles or relevant technical field
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in textile manufacturing or sericulture-based processing. Experience in managing quality standards and production flow is essential.
- Skills preference:
- Knowledge of Eri silk process, quality assurance, etc
- Hands-on experience in Eri silk yarn reeling, dyeing, or weaving
- Training or certification in textile production or quality management
- Ability to train rural producers and artisans
- Problem-solving skills in managing production equipment or raw materials
- Familiarity with quality certification processes (e.g., Silk Mark)
6. Post Name: Sales Executive
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 16,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in Business, Marketing or relevant field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of field or digital sales experience. Experience in craft/textile product sales or retail will be preferred. Ability to communicate with diverse buyers/customers.
- Skills preference:
- Sales skills, customer service, basic digital marketing
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies and POS tools
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
7. Post Name: Social Media Manager
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 16,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in Mass Communication, Marketing or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience managing Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms for organizations or brands. Strong storytelling and content strategy skills are essential. Experience in promoting rural products or social enterprises is desirable
- Skills preference:
- Content creation, analytics tools (e.g., Meta, Google), social media management
- Graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop)
- SEO knowledge and content calendar planning
