Nursing courses against State Quota Seats for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates who have appeared in the State Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 and are seeking admission to nursing colleges under the Meghalaya State Quota can submit their Meghalaya BSc Nursing Admission 2026 online application form starting from 27th July 2026 (10:00 AM). The last date to submit the online application form is 10th August 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2026
To be considered for the Meghalaya B.Sc. Nursing State Quota admission, candidates must fulfill the following essential requirements:
- Citizenship: Only candidates who are Bonafide Citizens of Meghalaya are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined, along with a passing grade in English individually.
- Candidates passing from recognized State Open Schools or the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognized by the Central/State Government having Science and English subjects are also eligible.
- Entrance Exam Cut-off: Candidates must obtain the required percentile cut-off score in the State Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026. Submitting the application without the State CEE 2026 Score Sheet will result in rejection.
- Age Limit: Candidates must complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2026.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit. Colour blind candidates are eligible provided they wear colour corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
Selection Process & Counselling Methodology
- Merit-Based Ranking: Candidates who are found eligible and medically fit will be ranked strictly based on their State CEE 2026 score within their respective categories.
- Reservation Policy: The final allotment of seats will strictly follow the Reservation Policy of the State Government of Meghalaya.
- Category Allotment Method:
- Open Category: Seats will be allocated purely on overall merit.
- Reserved Categories (Khasi & Jaintia, Garo, SC, OST): Seats will be allocated equitably round-by-round based on category rank. First rankers in each category will be allocated seats in the first round, second rankers in the second round, continuing until seats are filled.{inAds}
Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates obtain the exact same percentile in the CEE 2026 exam, tie resolution will proceed in the following order:
- Higher percentile score in Biology.
- Higher percentile score in Chemistry.
- Higher percentile score in Physics.
- Higher percentile score in English.
- Age Preference: If the tie persists, the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher.
Important Instructions for Selected Candidates
- Notice Display: The final list of selected candidates and waiting list will be displayed on the DHS DME Shillong Notice Board, the Office of the DM&HO in Tura (West Garo Hills), official state portals, and local daily newspapers in Shillong and Tura. No individual intimation letters will be sent to candidates.
- Mandatory Reporting: Nominated candidates must personally report to the Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Room No. 506, Additional Secretariat Building, within the specified date and time.
- Forfeiture of Seat: Failure to report within the prescribed timeframe will result in automatic loss of admission rights, and the seat will be passed to the next candidate on the waiting list.
- Fees & Terms: Candidates must pay all institution fees and abide by all rules of the allotted institution.
