Post-wise Eligibility, Salary, and Responsibilities
1. Centre Manager
- Number of Vacancies: 1 Post
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 42,500/- per month
- Essential Experience: Candidates must have a lived experience of recovery from substance use disorder with sustained recovery maintained for 15 years and above. Additionally, more than 15 years of work experience in de-addiction, rehabilitation, mental health, community outreach, or peer-support programmes is required, alongside strong communication and leadership skills.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in administration, social work, public health, healthcare management, or related fields. Familiarity with 12-Step recovery models and a recommendation from a recognized recovery group is highly preferred.
- Core Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the centre, guide clients in Yoga and wellness activities, implement the 12-Step Programme, supervise staff, and maintain precise documentation.
2. Counsellor-cum-Supervisor (Male & Female)
- Number of Vacancies: 2 Posts (1 Male and 1 Female)
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- per month
- Essential Experience: Individuals with a history of recovery from substance use disorder, maintaining continuous recovery for a minimum of 10 years. Applicants must have relevant experience in peer counselling, rehabilitation programmes, or community outreach.
- Desirable Qualifications: Training in counselling, life skills, or de-addiction services. Knowledge of English and local language(s) is preferred, along with a recommendation letter from a recovery group.
- Core Responsibilities: Conduct individual and group counselling sessions, facilitate AA and NA meetings, monitor client recovery plans, and offer psychological support to clients and their families.
3. Peer Educator-cum-Ward Attendant (Male & Female)
- Number of Vacancies: 2 Posts (1 Male and 1 Female)
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 19,344/- per month
- Essential Experience: Individuals possessing a personal history of recovery from substance use disorder with a minimum of 2 years of continuous, sustained recovery. Experience in peer support or rehabilitation setups is essential.
- Desirable Qualifications: Good communication skills, a background in mental health or life skills, and a recommendation from a recovery group.
- Core Responsibilities: Share personal recovery stories to promote hope, assist clients with daily routines, maintain hygiene in wards and dormitories, and accompany clients to appointments. Note: Selected candidates must reside within the Centre premises during the period of engagement.{inAds}
Important Terms & Conditions
- Domicile Preference: High preference will be granted to candidates who are domiciles of the state of Meghalaya.
