The Office of the Chief Commissioner, Meghalaya State Public Services Delivery Commission (MSPSDC), Shillong has officially released detailed recruitment notifications for Grade D posts. Eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Meghalaya are invited to submit online applications for the vacant posts of Driver, Peon, Cleaner, and Chowkidar.

Vacancy, Qualification & Pay Scale Breakdown
1. Driver
- Vacancies: 2 Posts (UR: 1, KJ: 1)
- Pay Level: Level 3 (As per Revised Pay Structure)
- Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed with a valid Professional Driving Licence issued by the concerned District Transport Officer.
- Additional Tests: Driving Test and Medical Eye Check-up Test prior to selection.
2. Peon
- Vacancies: 4 Posts (UR: 1, KJ: 2, G: 1)
- Pay Level: Level 1 (As per Revised Pay Structure)
- Educational Qualification: Class VII passed.
3. Cleaner
- Vacancies: 1 Post (UR: 1)
- Pay Level: Level 1 (As per Revised Pay Structure)
- Educational Qualification: Class VII passed.
- Additional Tests: Practical efficiency test (qualifying in nature).
4. Chowkidar
- Vacancies: 1 Post (UR: 1)
- Pay Level: Level 1 (As per Revised Pay Structure)

Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria
- Standard Age Limit: 18 to 32 years as of 01.01.2026.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates (up to 37 years).
- PWD Candidates: Upper age limit per Office Memorandum No. PER(AR)150/88/560 dated 18th January 2023.
- In-Service Candidates: No upper age limit applies to candidates already in Government service, provided they produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Proof of Age: Date of birth as entered in the School Certificate, Birth Certificate, or an extract from official Registers certified by the Board of School Education.
Selection Process & Examination
- No Interview: In compliance with OM No. PER(AR)58/2024/36 dated 29th July 2025, no interview will be conducted for Grade D posts.
- Selection Mode: Written Examination and Skill/Practical/Driving Test (where applicable).
- Document Verification: Scrutiny of relevant documents will be undertaken after clearing the screening/written examination as per OM No. PER(AR)71/2024/11.

- General Candidates: Rs. 100.00
- ST/SC Candidates: Rs. 50.00
- Payment Modes: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or e-Challan across SBI bank counters.

- Step 2: Register using a valid Email ID to create your account.
- Step 3: Log in to your account and select the post you wish to apply for.
- Step 4: Fill in all required details carefully in the online application form.
- Step 5: Upload a recent colored passport-size photograph and your signature in JPG format according to the portal specifications.
- Step 6: A unique application code will be generated for the applied post.
- Step 7: Pay the prescribed application fee online or generate an e-Challan for SBI cash payment.
- Step 8: Save and print the payment receipt and completed application form for future reference.
